It will definitely give you that vibe because of the setting, the mysterious character called Black Knight and the chain of events that would relate to creepy & ghostly stuffs. Now, moving apart from the gothic feeling, I felt that the book was confusing at some points like...I could not follow the writing very clearly and I also feel some questions are unanswered though I could not tell what the questions were.
