2020 has been the year which introduced me to so many authors and their works and there are so many books which I wish I had read earlier. Keeping that and my never-ending tbr in mind, I have researched about the books coming out in 2021. There are lots of exciting titles coming out this year but unfortunately not all of them can be read by me. I have about 40 books releasing in 2021 in my wishlist of which I have listed my top 10 most anticipated releases of 2021 in the order of 10 to 1 below:
10: Realm Breaker by Victoria Aveyard
Victoria Aveyard is the author of the well-known Red Queen series. I have heard so much amazing stuffs about the series and so this particular title interested me and I checked out its blurb.
Corayne lives in a world which is coming to an end and her pirate mother goes to exciting adventures which she does never share with Corayne. Then, an immortal assassin appears to Corayne and tells her that the world is approaching its end and that Corayne is the only one who could save the world. This caught me up with the concept of a seperate world and it sounds like a dystopian plot.

09: Amelia Unabridged by Ashley Schumacher
Why am I eyeing this book? Ahm...You deserve to know the reason and thats because this is going to make me cry😇. By this time you are supposed to know that bookworms love it when a book makes them cry. So obviously, this book made on to my anticipated list.
Alright, Amelia Unabridged is a debut novel about two teens and there friendship. It has so much happening between the two friends Amelia and Jenna. They both are the fans of the famous Orman Chronicles and get the oppurtunity to meet its author. Unfortunately everything goes wrong and Jenna dies. Followed by that Amelia gets a copy of the from the author itself. Why should she of all on earth get this copy from the one who has been the reason for Jenna's death?. This sounds super interesting and I'm ready to get broken.
08: These Feathered Flames by Alexandra Overy
Did you just look at that cover??!!😍 These Feathered Flames is again a debut and its a retelling of the Russian Folklore called the Firebird. This is about the twins Izaveta and Asya who are the heirs of Tourin. Izvata is being trained in the court to become the queen whereas Asya is taken by her aunt to train. The queen dies and Asya discovers that a power is growing within her.
This book has lots of magic, power, throneship and much more. This sounded promising and I personally love retelleings of any kind. So yup, that made up to the list.
07: Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas
Can there be anyone without hearing about the Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas which became a sensational hit of 2020? But, sadly I didn't read/get it. It was a queer paranormal read and guess whose back with another spooky read for the year. I got super excited when I spotted Aiden Thomas's book in the list for 2021 and decided to justify the loss of Cemetery Boys with this.
Coming to what this book is about, Wendy and her brothers went missing and children from the town starts disappearing. This in turn brings back the secrets of her brothers and so Wendy decides to run from her past. Driven by fate she getts pulled into the mystery of the town which is itself haunted. Wendy has to do something and if she doesn't, the disappeared children would face what her brother's did.
Now, the reason apart from Aiden Thomas for me to choose this book is because it says "haunted" and there is someting creepy in it (I guess so). Yes, I can't wait!
06: The Woods are Always Watching by Stephanie Perkins
Stephanie Perkins is the author of Anna and the French Kiss and its known to be a phenomenal novel of all time. When I came to know that she is coming up with another book, I just thought of checking it out and guess who found the catchy blurb!...and that means tap (added to wishlist).
If you were wondering what I found about the book, then its nothing but that its a horror novel set in woods and I am all set for 2021 halloween read. What else would I want?
Release date: August 03, 2021
05: The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren
If you guys are looking for some out of the usual stuffs then this book here is what I will suggest you. For me personally, this book caught my interest because of the plot for which I can't wait.
There's this matchmaking company called the GeneticAlly which is bringing about a revolution in the world of dating. Its a DNA-based matchmaking company which helps in finding the soulmate via DNA. Wow! this sounds incredible.
Jess Davis is a single mom and is a busy data wizard. She is in no way innterested to get into dating again until she comes to know of GeneticAlly. She is found to have 98% compatibility with another indiviual in their database who is none other that GeneticAlly's founder, Dr River Pena. Jess already knows him, completely dislikes him but has no other way now except getting to know River Pena.
This is like enemies to lovers stuff and I am so very much intrigued by the storyline and excited to see how it goes.
04: Those Who Run Towards Fire by Fredrik Backman
We have a book by Fredrik Backman this year and its the third book of the Beartown series which I adored so much. The cover is yet to be released and so is the release date.
I am blind to the plot and it easily made to my list because I trust and I love Fredrik Backman's writing. It has everything in it...literally every amazing things are buried in his books.
03: A Lesson in Vengence by Victoria Lee
C
oming to the top three books, A Lesson in Vengence is taking place in a dark academia called Dalloway School and has witchcraft in it. Felicity has been out of school since her girlfriend's death and now she is back in the school. Basically, Dalloway is bound with the history of witchcraft though none talks openly about it.
Ellis Haley is in her first year and and is already a novelist with huge fan following. She looks for the history of the school and sorts after Felicity's help. This leads them to dig up so much beyond the surface and Felicity is forced to face the dark dangers of the school.
02: Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
N
ow, if you guys haven't read the Daisy Jones and the Six, please stop whatever that you are doing and go read the book. Its always the best book I've read and who doesn't wait for another book by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I am freaking excited for this!!
This book is about the celebrity siblings and how they get to discover about each other in the party that they host. Again, Taylor has brought in the classy setting for the novel and it has these nice introvert characters and I am crazy to read and get myself dipped in the deep and meaningful writing of the author. Just get me this book soon!!

01: Empire of Vampire by Jay Kristoff
AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! Empire
of Vampire (cover yet to be revealed) is the book for which I am literally living 2021. Its Jay Kristoff and its vampires and I am hell excited for another badass character and adventure, pain, love, action and...OMG!! I can't contain myself.
Alright, I am a huge fan of the Nevernight Chronicles. The level of insanity that series holds could always make me feel every emotions. Thats it, I am signed up for another wild ride this year.
This book has vampires, saints who fights against vampires, betrayal, an adventurous trip against the dark and much more. Vampires have been roaming around without daylight for almost three decades and humanity has lost to them. There is the last of the Silver saints, Gabriel who is imprisoned. To bring an end to the night, a legendary cup prophesied to end the dark should be found. Its location is known only to the urchin Dior. How are the dark rulers going to be eradicated?
